About Us
The Cooper family resides and manages a 40 acre property located in Tumalo, OR. Originally from Portland and Eugene, growing up they spent summers and winters recreating in Central Oregon. In 2013, they decided to make Bend home and spent the past 10 years deepening roots in the surrounding communities. In 2021, they moved to a remarkable mountain and pasture view property with a vision to share it with others. But how?
A foundational element of their family is music. They seek connection with others through listening, play and creation of song. Tom is a drummer, Jen a singer, Grace and Charlie, multi-talented in instrument and voice. R&R Ranch is a place to promote and play live music for special events, or simply jam around a campfire.
Jen’s passion is horses. Growing up riding was where she found her solace. Whether it be on horseback or hanging out in the barn, this is where she feels most at peace. Even if that means mucking stalls and harrowing pastures.
R&R Ranch is space to combine music, equine and people. They appreciate reflective solitude amongst the herd, or a party with musicians and friends singing aloud; all while enjoying the beautiful Cascades as backdrop.
Rhythm and Reins offers horse boarding and private event space as a way to share in the community’s joys and celebrations. The barn hosts comfort and care for your equine companion, as well as clean, intentional space for gatherings. The Saloon adds a rustic and authentic vibe to your experience, as well as the covered porch, outdoor lawn, fire and horseshoe pits overlooking the pasture and mountains.
